Invaluable Winter Help for Needy Families

From Netivot to Ofakim, Teveria to Beit Shemesh, Netanya to Kiryat Sefer, Hadera to the Mir and locations in between, our Winter Warmth Campaign distributions are in full swing across the country this blistery cold winter, providing families with immeasurable relief and comfort, along with their new coats and blankets.

With the number of needy Israeli families having grown significantly in the past year, demand has been higher than ever, prompting American Friends of Yad Eliezer, one of the most effective Jewish charities for the poor,  to increase our Winter Warmth distribution to 4,500 young women's coats, 5,700 boys' winter coats and 5,000 for girls. Custom ordered from China back in June (early ordering is the best way to get the best prices), our coats are not only high quality, they are also current with the latest trends so women and children who wear them fit right in with their peers. The coats, along with the 11,000 thick blankets we are distributing, are changing winter for recipient families-from a season of bitter cold and suffering, to one of warmth, relief and normality.
