Our Pesach Campaigns: Full Steam Ahead

We will distribute over $3.2 million in aid!

With Purim now in the rearview mirror, AFYE/B’ezri is moving full steam ahead with our critical Pesach campaigns. One of the most financially demanding times of the year, especially in a war economy and especially for struggling families, Pesach is a daunting holiday for Israeli parents battling soaring costs of living including food prices along with other holiday essentials. 

As a Jerusalem charity that's been helping families for over four decades, we well understand the ins and outs of their struggles, focusing our mission to ensure that thousands of homes will have the means to celebrate despite the challenges they're facing. We’re bringing tangible relief to vulnerable households including:
-2800 needy families plus 700 grushot (divorced mothers)
-850 widows in our Keren Alamanos who will receive a supplemental holiday stipend for their families along with their April stipend
-3550 needy IDF soldiers including 700 Miluim families

For families who would otherwise face the discouraging prospect of sparse Seder and Yom Tov tables, lacking so many of the basics like matza and wine, plus anything "special" like meat or chicken, this support is nothing short of transformative. It’s what elevates Pesach, changing it from a burden to an actual holiday - filled with warmth, dignity, joy and the feeling that families are not alone. Our Pesach campaign makes this kind of impact for thousands:
