Our Coat Distributions are Underway

Families are simply astounded!

Our beautiful winter coats have arrived! Distributions are underway in cities and communities all across Israel. AFYE/B'ezri's winter coats, ordered months ago to ensure we purchased the best items at the best price point, are so stylish and of high quality that families are simply astounded. So much thought and planning goes into our coat order, so we know how beautiful they will be when they arrive. But it's always affirming when our recipients send feedback that shows they recognize it, too. It confirms we're doing it right. As an Israeli charity with gabbei tzedaka* throughout the country, we get updates continually and one gabbai just sent the following reaction from his community. 

"Baruch Hashem, we distributed the coats.This year, they were on a completely different level. They were absolutely stunning—beautiful beyond words. People were simply blown away! They said it’s hard to find such quality and beauty even in stores. Anyone wearing a coat from B’ezri feels like a millionaire. The children’s coats were very much appreciated, but the excitement was especially noticeable among the older girls who usually have strong opinions and are often less enthusiastic about distributions, etc. They were “over the moon” with excitement. Some of these girls had never received a new, beautiful coat in their lives—only hand-me-downs from their sisters. Others feel embarrassed to accept items from distributions. But this time, it was completely different. They received such gorgeous, modern coats. If possible, please share this with the donors, so they know that their hard earned money wasn’t “just spent”, it truly went to something truly, truly extraordinary. It’s a shame you weren’t there at the distribution to see how thrilled everyone was. May everyone be blessed with all the brachos and always have the merit to warm the Jewish people. It truly warms the heart. Thank you, thank you!"

People are noticing. Our coats are genuinely of the utmost quality and would cost hundreds of shekels in stores. They provide children and young women with physical warmth and increased self esteem, while providing their parents with relief and peace of mind. This year's Winter Warmth campaign is at an all time high, with an allocation of 25,050 coats in numerous sizes, styles and colors. As part of the campaign, we are distributing 10,000 new, warm winter blankets as well.
