Winter gear through our Stand With Israel campaign

The rain and cold have arrived in Israel and AFYE/B'ezri is ready. Our Winter Warmth campaign is well underway to help families in need with new coats and blankets. Our Electricity Support program is running, ensuring struggling families can keep their electricity connected in the home.

There are other needs that come up in the winter that we are prepared for, too. One of them is for IDF soldiers, who are fighting tirelessly to protect and defend Israeli citizens. Since the start of the war, our Stand With Israel campaign has been providing soldiers with urgent equipment and supplies to ensure they shouldn't be lacking anything that will assist them in their life saving work. A soldiers' unit in the north, waiting to go into Lebanon, contacted B'ezri recently with a request for חלפ"ס/Chalpas jackets (חלפ"ס is the Hebrew abbreviation for chalifat s'ara=rain gear) and B'ezri was able to respond right away. The order, for 50+ jackets currently (with the likelihood of it being increased in the coming days), is already being processed and will be delivered as soon as possible to the soldiers. It's just one example of how our Stand With Israel campaign continues to assist soldiers (plus countless families who've been affected by the war) as the conflict rages on. Stand With Israel will be there for the long term as well, providing aid for people impacted by this difficult time, even once the war is over (may it be soon!).
