2010 Raffle Most Successful Yet
Tuesday, February 01, 2011You win! Yad Eliezer is excited to announce that this year’s annual raffle was our most successful raffle yet. Altogether, you and other friends of Yad Eliezer bought over 6,000 tickets, raising over $400,000 for the poor of Israel.
Thanks to you, thousands of hungry families received food baskets for an entire month. Hundreds of babies from impoverished homes were provided infant formula for one hundred days. Dovid Oberlander of Brooklyn, New York, also happened to receive $50,000 with his winning raffle ticket.
How did Dovid feel when he found out that he won the raffle? “What an incredible day! I got to support my favorite charity and I won really big!”
The poor of Israel thank you for making a big difference in their lives. For you it was just a raffle ticket. For them you are a hero.
