Summer Relief, In Their Words

A glimpse at the difference you made this summer

Thank you notes have been pouring in for the summer support we've been distributing these past few weeks through our Summer Relief campaign. Too many to post in this limited space, but here are a glimpse of just a few. True to the program name, Summer Relief has brought real relief to struggling families, helping them with expenses to get through the summer season, which is often harder than holidays. Donor support is the inspiration for these letters and what made them (and many more) possible!




To B’ezri, 
Our Nachman took his first steps this morning into the classroom on the first day of the new school year, with a radiant smile from ear to ear. With great pride, he carried a brand-new, shiny backpack on his back and held a pencil case filled with all the supplies he needed. His heart was filled with joy, excitement, and self-confidence - the feeling of belonging and genuine happiness
among all the children in his class. None of this happiness and light would have been possible without you. Your organization's financial support and generosity gave our child not only physical school supplies, but also a sense of value, happiness, and a fresh start on the right foot. We have no words to express our gratitude for your open hearts, your individual attention, and the quiet and dignified way in which you give.
May your reward be great from Shamayim, and may you always zechus to be among those who give and bring joy.

I want to personally thank you for the generous assistance with the Bein Hazmanim expenses. The money arrived exactly when I needed it, when I had several special expenses for the Bein Hazmanim period.
Thanks to you, we are able to enjoy the summer. A huge yasher koach!.
Please continue doing so much for all of Am Yisrael, and especially for those who dedicate themselves to Torah learning.

We wanted to thank you for all the support and assistance you provide us. If only we could show you the happy faces of our children after we saw that the money had been deposited into our account, allowing us to give them what every Jewish child receives without making them feel poor or deprived.
May Hashem repay you according to your goodness, and may all those whose hearts were moved to give to us and help fill our needs be blessed from Heaven.

This moved me to tears.
Not because of the money (the wonderful treat that I will use to give the children some summer outings), but because it means that someone sees me - the “invisible” divorced mother who holds her home together with both hands and with her head held high.

With hearts full of appreciation and gratitude, I want to tell you about the Bein Hazmanim experiences that were made possible for my children because of you.
My children, too, whose daily routine and vacation are different from those of their friends, were able to enjoy themselves and get a change of scenery with your help.
I was able to respond to their requests and say, “Yes!”
To rent electric scooters for them.
Tickets to activities.
Trips and outings.
And to see them happy. Smiling. Laughing.
One small word that says it all: Thank you!!!
May Hashem repay you according to your goodness, may you always be zoche to be among those who give, and may we all have the zechus to greet Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily, amen.
