Families share what our Yom Tov assistance meant to them

“It is the joy of Yom Tov for children, it is the calm look in their eyes on Erev Chag...”
That sentiment comes through again and again in the thank-you notes B’ezri has received (and continues to receive) following the High Holidays.

This year, more than $3 million in holiday assistance went out to thousands of families across Israel - including 2,400 needy families, among them 350 divorced mothers; 800 almanos and their 6,000+ children, in addition to their regular monthly stipends; and 2,300 needy IDF soldiers and their families.

The assistance meant being able to cover holiday expenses at a time when doing so was anything but a given. It brought them tremendous relief, simcha, and peace of mind - and, as these families' own words show, enabled them to experience the holidays in a dignified way.

“The miracle came, quite literally”

Dear B’ezri,
I wanted to say thank you!!!!!! For your help and assistance during such a difficult and stressful time. I was sure that this holiday I wouldn’t be doing any shopping. I really had no idea where a yeshua would come from.
There was one thing I had no doubt about - we needed a miracle here!!! But there was no way to know how it could happen.
And this morning, the miracle came, quite literally. I saw that money had been deposited from you or from a donor, and I simply have no words to describe the relief I feel. I now have the ability to do basic shopping for the holiday, and I’ll be able to be home with my children instead of having to travel around and stay with other people. I just said Mizmor L’Todah to Hashem for His rachamim.
Mizmor L’Todah to you at B’ezri, for being the messengers who brought this kindness.
And Mizmor L’Todah to the donor who was given the merit of bringing joy and easing our burden, and giving us the ability to welcome the holiday with happiness.
So a huge thank you!
May Hashem repay you many times over, with health, joy, and nachat, beyond measure!!!

“Your tremendous and much-needed assistance”

To the leaders of the amazing organization B’ezri,
It is impossible, and simply would not be right, to go into Yom Tov without thanking you for your tremendous and much-needed assistance.
Thanks to you, the preparations and everything surrounding them are easier. May you be rewarded from Shamayim for your kindness, and may you always merit to assist others with an open hand and in good health.
Wishing you a Shana Tova and a good note in the Sefer HaChayim.
Mrs. Batya C.

“You brought so much light, joy, and peace of mind into our home”

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for standing by the members of the community in general, and by us personally in particular-during the days leading up to the Yamim Tovim (when expenses are especially high) and throughout the rest of the year with ongoing expenses.
For the thoughtfulness you show in giving us a good feeling, and for doing so with such an open and generous heart.
We bless you that all your wishes be fulfilled for the good and for bracha, with an abundance of nachat, livelihood, health, and happiness.
With our brachot and best wishes,
The M. Family, Karmiel

"Our holiday table will be so much more special this year"

A special thank you for your support in honor of Sukkot, which touched us deeply. You brought so much light, joy, and peace of mind into our home.
Thanks to you, our holiday table will be so much more special this year.
 ("אין שמחה אלא בבשר ויין")
May the zechut of the mitzvah and the great acts of chesed you constantly do accompany you and your families. We wish you health and much nachat from all your children and descendants!
May you hear b'sorot tovot and experience yeshuot!
With appreciation and thanks,
Shlomo S. and family

“It is truly a breath of fresh air”

I am writing to you today with a deep sense of gratitude and a sincere desire to express my appreciation for the significant support you provide me month after month, and especially in advance of the holidays. Truly, words are not enough to express my thanks for the tremendous kindness and extensive assistance I have been fortunate to receive from you.
During this challenging period, when I face complex financial difficulties and uncertainty every day, your organization and your open-hearted approach serve as an anchor and source of support for me during the most difficult times.
The financial assistance you provide is not merely material help - it is truly a breath of fresh air.
To your staff, who listens, cares, and encourages me endlessly, especially at times when I feel that it is difficult for me to get back on my feet and continue coping with all the challenges - each time, I am deeply moved by the respectful treatment, sensitivity, and genuine humanity you show me.
Your tremendous charitable endeavor should never be taken for granted. Thanks to your blessed work and dedication, my family is able to experience light and joy even during the challenging moments we are going through.
I bless you from the bottom of my heart that you should continue to expand the boundaries of your chesed, with health, happiness, nachat, and peace of mind.
May the merit of this great mitzvah stand for you, your families, and all those who support and assist you, and may you be blessed with every good thing, with an abundance of blessing, success, and all that is good forever. May we all merit together to see the true and complete redemption speedily in our days.
With blessings of strength and continued success, and with my deepest thanks from the bottom of my heart for everything.

A Thank You to Our Donors

Behind every one of these messages (and there are many more!) are the donors who made it possible for B’ezri to be there when these families needed it. Your contributions are what allow this assistance to reach parents and children across Israel - and what made these words of thanks possible.
