Help is still needed for Meron families
The Lag B’Omer tragedy in Meron left the nation in severe shock, immeasurable sorrow and deep mourning.
And families of the victims still live with many needs, still trying to pick up the pieces.
Our Meron Crisis Relief program was there right at the start and has not stopped, since. We continually bring the victims' families crucial support.
Monthly aid is allocated to almanos, who were thrown into emergency mode, left alone with yesomim to raise.
Some were already struggling on a day to day basis beforehand, and are now devastated on multiple levels. Our support ensures they can meet their families' needs.
We send family members of the victims help for one-time expenses such as therapy, evaluations, assistance with simchas and aid before chagim for those who are still struggling financially as a result of the accident.
We also assist with medical bills on an as needed basis for victims who've been left with life altering injuries, helping with home adaptations and nursing care. We provide support for emotional therapy-for which there is continually high demand.
Our support allays daily financial stresses, providing funds for a wide range of necessities to keep homes functioning.
As the consequences of the tragedy continue to affect these families, American Friends of Yad Eliezer | B'ezri continues as well, to anticipate their needs and provide them with a shoulder to lean on, while they try to make their way through this unimaginable crisis.
Please join us in our critical mission.
Help us send a lifeline to families of the Meron tragedy and show them they're not forgotten.
