The Lag B’Omer tragedy in Meron has left the nation in severe shock, immeasurable sorrow and deep mourning.
Our Meron Crisis Relief program has been set up to bring urgent support to families affected by the calamity.
Aid is being allocated to the almanos, who've been thrown into emergency mode, left alone with yesomim to raise.
Some were already struggling on a day to day basis beforehand, and are now devastated on multiple levels.
We are also helping families who’ve lost precious children and loved ones, and sending relief to households of those injured and hospitalized.
Our support is allaying financial stress, providing funds for a wide range of basic needs to keep their homes functioning.
We also assist with necessities such as medical bills and emotional therapy-for which there continues to be a high demand.
As the consequences of the tragedy continue to affect these families, American Friends of Yad Eliezer is here to anticipate their needs and provide them with a shoulder to lean on, while they try to make their way through this unimaginable crisis.
Please join us in our critical mission.
Help us send a lifeline to families of the Meron tragedy.
With impoverished kids stuck at home, leaving parents unable to go to work, the loss of income makes an already difficult situation even worse. No money to buy food or pay the electric bill makes summer unbearable. We can bring relief.
Since 1989, we have been privileged to help create happy holiday memories for some 8,000 poor families by discretely distributing vouchers for chicken, meat, and other foodstuffs as well as clothing and shoes.
