Shavuos is on the way

Our campaign for grushot and needy families is back!

As Shavuos approaches, B’ezri is once again stepping up to ensure that families in need can welcome the chag the way it deserves to be celebrated. This year's campaign, which has grown into one of our most meaningful annual initiatives, will provide insulated dairy food packages valued at more than 250 NIS each, to over 2,200 grushot and agunot - a noticeable jump from the 1,800 women served just last year. The rising number is a stark reflection of the growing need on the ground, and a reminder of just how critical B’ezri’s efforts are.

The packages include specially selected items - staple dairy products that families rely on when preparing traditional Shavuos meals. With food prices continuing to climb this season, the relief couldn't come at a better time.

The response from recipients has been overwhelmingly heartfelt. Women have expressed gratitude not just for the practical help, but for feeling seen and remembered. "Now I can make a real Shavuos meal for my children," is the kind of reaction we receive time and time again. Others share how meaningful it is to sit down to a holiday table that looks and feels like those of their friends and neighbors with meals that include the classics like cheesecakes and blintzes - without the weight of financial worry bearing down on their Yom Tov.

In addition to the dairy packages, B’ezri is distributing food vouchers worth $180 to 300 needy families, giving them the flexibility to shop for necessities.
By covering the basics in a practical, thoughtful way, B’ezri is helping thousands of families head into Shavuos with fewer gaps to worry about.
