B'ezri's increasing the light of Chanukah

From Tzfat in the north to Ofakim in the south plus numerous cities and communities in between, B'ezri is increasing the light of Chanukah in more than 1500 homes. Perfectly timed to kick off the the holiday, B'ezri has delivered 3,000 games to families in need, ensuring their Chanukah is enhanced with fun and quality family entertainment. Games include Around the World (similar to Monopoly), Labyrinth, and Chocolate Fix, popular items in Israel that many of B’ezri’s families can’t afford but would love to own. Our distribution ensures that now they can, providing them with joy and a special sense of celebration for the holiday, enabling families to create positive Chanukah memories together.

In addition to these, B’ezri is also providing financial support of 500 NIS to 120 miluim (reservist) families to assist with holiday expenses. With fathers away from home, Chanukah just isn’t the same, but our support fills in some of the gaps, providing aid to alleviate expenses and bring them a boost. Forty wives of reserve soldiers are also receiving a special gift-popular cookbooks including Peas, Love & Carrots by Danielle Renov, Good Food by Sina Mizrahi, Millennial Kosher by Chanie Apfelbaum and other titles.

Families assisted by B’ezri are faced with so many diverse challenges. Figuring out how to celebrate Chanukah while balancing everything else shouldn’t be one of them. That’s why we are an Israeli charity continually driven to find as many thoughtful ways as possible to alleviate their strain.
