Dairy prices in Israel have gone up (and most recently, also for government price-controlled products), making it even harder for needy families to purchase necessities like milk and cheeses on a regular basis.
And with Shavuos coming up, struggling households are once again faced with a challenge-how to prepare traditional chalavi (dairy) meals for their families just as the rest of the population does.
American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri is always thinking ahead, which makes us one of the most proactive & productive Jewish charities in Israel and we've prepared for this situation. We are distributing a special insulated bag full of a variety of dairy products to 1100 Grushot, plus food vouchers to hundreds of other families in need, to ease their strain and make sure they will also have a taste of Shavuos this year.
We're able to provide families with holiday needs throughout the year thanks to donors' tzedaka and, of course, compassion.
So many families are struggling with these price increases. Join us in bringing them the tzedaka and compassion they badly need.
