Using Laughs to Bring Relief

What do you get when three women organize a comedy night in Modiin?
Thousands of shekels to be donated to tzedaka!

It's no joke. Tova Amor, Jessica Israel and Sara Nachshon of Modiin were the chairpeople of a fantastic evening of comedy recently at the Kehillat Darchei Tzion shul in Modiin, Israel. Over seventy people were entertained by comedian Benji Lovitt, and more than 2,500 NIS was raised to benefit Yad Eliezer. Ms. Amor says "I have previously worked with Yad Eliezer at their packing warehouse in Jerusalem. I saw how important their job was and how many people their help reached and thought it appropriate at this time of year to choose Yad Eliezer to receive the donations."
