Charity Navigator Commends Yad Eliezer

Only 3% of the charities reviewed by Charity Navigator achieve the highest possible rating, four stars, for six years consecutively. As of March 1^st 2010, Yad Eliezer proudly joined that exclusive percentile.

Charity Navigator has become America’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities by analyzing tens of thousands of non-profit financial documents from over 5,000 of the nation’s best known charities. Their unbiased, objective, numbers-based rating system examines two broad areas of a charity’s financial health � how responsibly they function on a day to day basis as well as how well positioned they are to sustain their programs over time.
Charity Navigator’s recent letter to Yad Eliezer stated, “Only 3% of the charities we rate have received at least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that American Friends of Yad Eliezer consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates American Friends of Yad Eliezer from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
