Donatation of 420 fans to low-income families in the city of Jerusalem
Jerusalem is a beautiful city that attracts millions of tourists from around the world, but there is another side to the city as well. Large families live in small cramped apartments on a shoestring budget. In the summer the heat can be unbearable, but not everyone can afford an air conditioner, or pay the electric bill that it can run-up. A generous anonymous donor provided 420 fans to low-income families in the city. Local rabbis and community activists invited the local families with the greatest financial distress to take home a fan as a gift. Now as the heat soars their homes are left cool, but their hearts are warmed! And we can honestly tell the donor that these families are some of your biggest fans! :-)
