The holidays are a time for family festivity. Jewish families from all over the world come together and unite in celebration. Yet what about those living below the poverty line who don't have the means to put even the basic foods on the table?Thanks to The Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles 50 families will have $100 vouchers to buy basic necessities for the holiday. Aside from the food that will grace their tables, their hearts will be filled with the knowledge that the Jewish people are one big extended family, that they are not alone and forgotten in their struggles.
