This year you too can support poor Israeli families - Join us!
In the office and warehouse of Yad Eliezer the wheels are turning- lists are being made and orders are being placed. We turn to you at this time to help us make the upcoming holidays a complete celebration for Israel's poor.With your help, Yad Eliezer will be distributing:
Chickens
Meat
Pantry essentials
Supermarket vouchers
Baby formula
Financial aid to grushos and almanos
Over a million shekels to hundreds of widows and thousands of orphans throughout Israel.- Some of whom will be 'celebrating' the holidays for the first time with the seat at the head of the table heartbreakingly empty.
Over ten thousand families are waiting for our help, from northern Israel, throughout the country and down south to many families who have suffered terribly from rocket fire these past months. In addition we will show our support and appreciation to hundreds of 'lone-soldiers' and soldiers whose families live below the poverty line.
To insure that aid is distributed to the families with the greatest need, each family must be endorsed by a social worker or a local community coordinator who is familiar with the true needs of the family.
Last year we raised over a million dollars to make the High Holidays a real celebration for Israel's poorest families.

This year a generous donor has offered to match our donationsby 50%, up to $250,000- that means that every hundred dollars donated now is worth a hundred and fifty!
