Summer Relief for Struggling Families

As temperatures rise and families across Israel prepare for the long weeks ahead, B'ezri is distributing vital assistance to thousands of struggling households.

This year's support will reach divorced mothers, almanos (widows), and families facing financial hardship, helping cover essential expenses such as basic camp fees, food & utilities and other urgent needs during the summer months. For families already struggling with unemployment, illness, single parenthood, and mounting debt, the long summer break brings weeks of additional expenses and financial strain-especially if parents can't afford summer camp or child care so they can go out to work.

"Families who have to count every shekel suddenly feel like millionaires," shared B'ezri's Almanos Coordinator. "They can enroll their children in a program, let themselves spend just a little more on food, or do something special like go away for a day or two. Most importantly, they can choose what to spend this very precious "extra" money on."
She added that one almana summed up the impact best: "To put it simply, you give me the opportunity to make my children happy."

Through the Summer Relief campaign, B'ezri is providing a lifeline to 4,464 vulnerable households across Israel including divorced mothers, widows and other needy households, helping families maintain stability during one of the most financially challenging times of the year.
