It's Warm out and We're Planning for Winter

Our coat order is being prepared - now.

What colors are popular ? What styles? Should there be fur at the edge of the hood? 

It may be warm and sunny outside, but at B'ezri, our minds are on the rain and cold of winter, so these are the kinds
of questions we're asking.

Every year, in preparation for our Winter Warmth campaign, we start planning our coat order months in advance. Ordering early from overseas means we get the best prices for the highest quality coats - and that they arrive right on time, just as winter begins, when families need them most.

By focusing on every detail of our coats from small to large, we can ensure each woman and child who receives one can feel confident wearing it. We know how important it is that they look just like everyone around them. That no one looking at them would know their coat came from a charity distribution.

This is an integral part of Winter Warmth, which allocates coats and blankets to thousands of families across Israel - north to south, east to west. It is a critical program that keeps growing with each year. Last year alone we distributed a record breaking 17,516 coats for boys and girls and 7,500 coats for women. We also distributed 12,000 thick winter blankets. 

With prices of basics rising non stop, we know the need in homes of struggling families will be even more severe this year. So we're making sure we get our head start.
