Spreading Light Where It’s Needed Most

Through games, toys & help with expenses, B'ezri's there

As we prepare for Chanukah, at B’ezri we are once again focusing on bringing joy, comfort, and support to families who are struggling on a daily basis. 

One of the ways we do this each year is by distributing popular games and toys to children who could use a burst of holiday excitement and happiness. Their joy spreads to their parents as well, lifting the atmosphere of the entire home and bringing warmth to the whole family.  B'ezri's toy order this year includes 1,000 Shpring and Twist electronic dance mats and 1,000 Zig Zug word games - two of the season’s most popular items.

We take the time each year to research which toys kids are excited about so that the struggling families we assist receive gifts their children really want-items their friends are receiving, too, which makes them feel accepted and included. These games aren’t just toys; they represent fun, energy, normalcy and a change of pace for families who often grapple with overwhelming challenges. When so much in their lives feels heavy - constant need, medical issues, financial worry, stresses -  gifts like these can light up homes and lift spirits in a meaningful way.

The toys, of course, are only part of the support we’re providing this Chanukah. Many families are also receiving financial assistance and emergency support, helping them keep up with essential expenses during a time of year that can be especially difficult.

Our mission is simple: to spread light - and relief - where it’s needed most. Through gifts and vital financial help, we’re making sure families who reach out to us can celebrate a Chanukah that's a bit warmer, brighter, and more dignified.
