A Heartfelt Thank You: How Your Generosity Brought the Celebration Back to Sukkos

I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the generous donation you transferred on erev Sukkos.
Please convey to the dear donors (for whom we davened) that for me, it was truly hatzalas nefashos.
I took early retirement due to my situation and received only a small advance, and I thought, "how I will I manage during the chag?"
Things are already complicated and difficult as it is- the first holiday without Abba, a divorced daughter with grandchildren, emotional therapy sessions…
And then I received your call about the donation, which sweetened a bit, those hard and complicated days (I can’t believe I’m writing this way about the kadosh holidays, but it was truly very hard!).
The money really, really helped me feel like it was Yom Tov despite everything.
